I don't have a dog, but if I did, his arse would stay outside.

Dogs belong outside. People that have inside dogs houses stink. They'll tell you their house doesn't stink. But they're wrong. And they're stupid because they think their dog belongs inside a house where it constantly deposits dirt and fecal matter. And they're queer, in the case of Paul Allen.

Do these little pussies look like they'd survive outside?
No way.
No way.

Yes.
Just the way nature intended.

Outside? My dog will not even sit on the hardwood floor. If he is not on the couch he will lay down on his doggie bed. He doesn’t even like to go outside to play.

Inside dogs. I don't know why you'd have a dog if you're just going to leave them outside.

Your dog wants to be with their humans. If you're outside, that's where it wants to be. If you're inside.....well, you get the idea. They are dedicated and loyal to you. The best creatures on Earth. Period.

Outside on a 100lb 6' chain tied to a tree.
Not really. We have a dog door in a storm door and she (had to put the cavalier down 2 weeks ago) goes in and out as she pleases when we are home.

Dog outside = pet
Dog inside = family
Ours is a member of our family

Our three dogs have a doggie door and come and go as they please. The doggie door opens on to a porch in a fenced yard.

Nature didn't make all of these breeds. Humans did.

Our dog was strictly an outdoor dog his first 11 years of his life. He would get a summer hair cut and in the winter he would have his thick fur coat. On cold days we put hay in his dog house and had a lamp near buy in a screened in porch. He would also hang out in there on rainy days. He had cover and had a fenced in acre with an in-ground pool to have fun in. He loved it. He would run forever out there barking at everything. He never came inside.
Now he is in retirement and has been a 90% indoor dog his last 3 years since our move to our new home. He sleeps inside every night. He made the transition smooth. We don’t have a doggie door. He stands in front of the door when he wants outside. I know he is not going to run off. A couple of hours later I will hear a knocking at the door and it is him. I’ll come let him back inside. He rides with me to the gym, and goes with me into Bass pro, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Rei, etc. He basically just wants to ride everywhere even if he does not get out. He is so well behaved he’s been on long vacation trips with us to the beach. I forget he is in the backseat. He has had a pretty good life.
Nothing wrong with an outdoor dog if you make sure he is taken care of out there. Or you could do like we did and bring him inside when he gets older.

Two inside. 5 outside. Although the outside dogs sleep in my utility room at night. They’re kenneld or hang out on the patio during the day. Kennel is under my barn and sheltered from the elements.

Gross. Hopefully he/she just finished licking his/her arse not long before and you just can't smell it.
