Growing up our dogs used to always stay outdoors. Even in winter.

What’s the point of having one if it’s going to be outside all the time?

We can barely get our chocolate lab not to jump on the bed when we’re not home.

She wouldn’t make it outside. Too much of a diva

We have a chocolate lab and a yellow. I bought them for my twin girls when they were 5 or so. It's weird but the dogs attached themselves to one kid almost immediately and they have stayed that way.

frick that, I just gave my dog a ribeye and now he is sitting on my couch next to me watching entourage. His life is short I'm not going to waste it with him being outside.

No. Both inside dogs. They go out often though. We have our yard fenced in.

Funny story. One of my girls was absolutely burning up with fever one night (105 I think) when she was about 6 and the dog came and barked at me in my bed. He made me walk to her bed after barking at me for several minutes. He'd bark and run to her bed and then run back at me and bark. They are intelligent creatures. She ended up having a ruptured appendix. I'm not saying that he knew that but he knew something was f'ing wrong.

Outside only. They have dog houses. Inside at night if it's freezing. Kitchen only with a gate preventing rest of house entry. No dog hair or fleas allowed in my house.

He knew, I've been having a bad sinus infection and my dog won't stop licking my nose.

That may be true. Honestly I have a Australian Shepherd. If you take care of them they are very protective and loving.
