It doesn't promote its growth, which is the important part.

I think it has to be 60% alcohol before it will kill the virus, so if you can stomach 120 proof you can kill it.

I drank whiskey all day - didn’t want to take any chances

Actually I really don’t care - if I get it, I get it.

If I die - well then you won’t have to read any more of my posts

If Chinese air doesn't kill it then whiskey won't

Friend,

In your body, no. Alcohol will blunt your immune function and may increase your risk of developing pneumonia. Alcohol consumption is a major factor in alcoholics having an extremely high rate of developing pneumonia.

On inanimate surfaces whiskey might kill some viruses, but I wouldn’t prefer it over regular cleaners.

I’m going to just put a shot in with my bourbon. We have a gallon size bottle with a pump top

Yes. Other things that kill it are hot tea, some tequila, and a cig.

You will be fine in a few days. Live your life, and frick your wife.

I'll say this. July 4th spent with a guy that had it, we ate same chip bowl/ appetizers, smoked cigars, grilled, prob good 5 hours together. He had woke up that morning thinking it was just vertigo and felt like arse but he just battled through it.

Bulleit bourbon kept me safe. Him and his wife were drinking urban south beer. She came down with it like 2 days after that. The bulleit kills it on contact

True but not because of the dampened immune response. Heavy alcohol consumption impairs the gag reflex so many alcoholics reflux and aspirate gastric and salivary contents into their lungs, causing an aspiration pneumonia

Pretty sure it must. Been drinking nothing but bourbon for the past year. I feel damn good.
