I usually find out on social media someone I know is an atheist because they want to infuse religion into everything more than the majority of Christians

Better Question:
Does someone being Christian make you mad?
Does someone being Christian make you mad?

Do what you do, those people should be ignored.
And to answer the question, i have fallen in and out with God based on life events.

There it is, no I was raised in the Church or Christ, my sister was admonished for being a cheerleader in school, I don't believe in their tenants.

There’s no way you actually believe this

No, but many atheists seem awfully mad at religious people.

Mad? Not at all. Believe whatever you want. I’ve just noticed that atheists have a habit of inserting themselves into any conversation that even remotely touches on faith or religion.

Ha I see you haven’t met many atheists out irl.

I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist.

And you don't think religious people do this?

While it is true that a crossfitting vegan atheist who has climbed Mount Everest would definitely mention the "atheist" part last when meeting a new person, your larger point appears valid.

No because I’m not the one going to hell
Posted on 8/1/25 at 7:15 am to travelgamer
Dosent there have to be a god for them not to believe in?

Is there a hell if you don't believe?

The only Christians I get remotely "mad" at are the guys in the Quarter and at the LSU games that scream into the portable speakers and berate the passersby.
That is completely opposite to Jesus' teachings, and likely turns more off to the Word than enlightens them.

The “average Christians” I know, even those who barely practice, walk around wearing Christian jewelry and stop everyone to pray before meals, at a minimum. Do the “average Christians” you know not do so? Because if so, that’s injecting religion into things more than literally every atheist I know

And oddly enough they’d agree

I’m a Christian and I look at someone being an atheist as none of my business. Maybe I’m wrong in that regard but just the way I feel about it.
