I said this in another thread recently, after a nuclear war the only things left would be cockroaches and Chalmette. They would fight each other to a draw and agree to live together peacefully.

The gf and I were going over the MS River Bridge yesterday, and laughing at how small downtown NO is compared to other major cities. It's pretty pathetic how much this area holds itself back

It's Manhattanesque compared to Phoenix's skyline, and Phoenix has been one of the fastest growing cities in America for the last two decades.
