Seems like I see a disproportionate amount of Nissan vehicles with worn out paint and rusted bodies. Particularly Titans and Frontiers.

A guy at work has that newer cummins diesel. Can't be but 2-3 years old. Paint is peeling already.

Painting cars is not a strong point for Asian car manufacturers

Altima’s and Maxima’s as well.

There’s a certain subset of the population that seems to buy them more than any other; still fairly new and they’re always totally beat to shite.

Nissans are often very poorly cared-for. Seems like every G35 I see has some sort of jacked-up aftermarket crap on it and footwells full of Burger King wrappers. I suspect that if you actually bought a Nissan new and kept a coat of wax on it it would hold up well.

Could be a black paint thing, too. I don't think black paint holds up very well, but if you want to be some kind of hardass go get your black paint.

Titans are built in Canton, Mississippi. That's all you need to know.

Haven’t experienced this. I have had 3 accords going back to 2000 and I have not see an issue. I do keep them waxed though and I have heard that the version released in 2016 or whatever have electrician issues.

Nissan pickups rust out up here VERY quickly. Too much salt on the roads in winter.

The finish quality on our old Honda Accord was pretty bad. It's a weak point for them - although Acura products look a lot better.

Damn I never even noticed until you mentioned it that it's usually always a Nissan when I see one like that. See a shite-ton of Altimas and Maximas and the roofs are just shot to shite on cars that aren't even that old

See it on Corollas all the time. Wife had a Mazda 3 that faded after about 5 years.
