YES. Cats are the fricking scum of the earth. They are not pets, they just live in your house. They’re basically shitty roommates that don’t pay rent.

You guys have awful cats then. Mine shows a lot of affection when she wants to, will not claw/bite a human outside of them just doing insane shite, and my goodness she defends her people/animals/territory.
I woke up one night because she was clawing at the glass to get to a stray that jumped up on my apartment porch. My girl friend has a blind dog, and she constantly follows that dog around as a protector, it's the craziest thing I've ever seen.

My parents had both a cat and dog. The thing you have to worry about is piss and shite. The Roomba will NOT recognize it as an obstacle and it will drag it everywhere.
Yeah, my two dogs don't piss and shite in the house. They go straight to the door when they have to go and we don't even have to put them up when we leave. They just lay around when no one is home. When one of them was younger, they used it in the house but it was right by the back door..
When they were pups, we would put them in their kennel at night and when no one was home and then as soon as we took them out we brought them outside. Dogs don't use it where they sleep (unless they are left in there for an unusually long time) and they learned pretty quick that outside is where they have to do their business.

i tried my hardest to get the cats to ride the thing.

My two dogs give it the "side eye" and go nap somewhere else.

Cat ignores it, dog is deathly afraid of vacuums. Nothing like a 65lb lab running across our hardwood floor like a deer on ice trying to escape a 3lb circular vacuum.

You ever had two cats mating outside of your window?
There are some bushes and plants near my bedroom window and once in a blue moon I will wake up in the middle of the night to what sounds like a cat raping.. I learned that is what cats sound like when they are fricking.. So one night I let my dogs out, they went straight into the bushes and I saw two big arse cats haul arse.. And they didn't come back.. But that sound alone plays a role in me hating cats.

some dogs and cats are scared of it, most are just curious and avoid it, some actually DGAF and let it bump into them.
my sister has a roomba and a house with dogs and cats and they dont care and it does wonders to clean up all the hair they leave behind, that said, hers didnt have the avoid feature and if puke or a loose wet crap was on the floor that thing smeared it all over the damn house and it pissed her off but its just a part of having pets

My bulldog never pays any attention to our roomba. Sometimes he moves out of its way and sometimes he doesn't.

Georgey doesn't care. Just lays there with no concern.

Not a Roomba, But a Neato Botvac. My dog usually just gets up, moves out of vacuum's way, relocates...

My son had an English Mastiff. He would just lay on the floor and the Roomba would continually bounce off him like a piece of furniture.
Old dog never even looked up.

My dog ignores it. It’s a non factor.
