Pieces of shite. Purchase one if you want to impress the neighbors for a few months, after that your car will be in the shop on the regular.

If you have that kind of money, you can still have an awesome vehicle. Instead of dropping six figures on a range rover sport, buy a mustang gt500 or a vette, and use the rest on a built up jeep.

The Wrangler has never done it for me for some reason.

The new Grand Cherokee is a sweet ride though.

I have a new Grand Cherokee now and the more I drive it, the more I am disappointed in the size of it. It is much smaller than I really wanted when looking or I would have looked at a new X3.

I am starting to dig European cars more than American and on the surface the LR checks alot of boxes for what I would need. Would be great if it were a viable option.

The funny thing is that nearly every person claiming that Land Rovers are garbage in this thread would swear that the F150 is a great vehicle. My new F150 is the first Ford that I have bought and I have had 6 warranty items fixed and they are ordering the parts for number 7 now. Before this Ford I owned 3 different new Chevys totaling a whopping 0 warranty items fixed or needing fixed. My range Rover had many less problems in the 10 years I owned it than my F150 in 2 years.

They have a horrible reputation grounded in cold, hard, fact.

Beautiful interiors, average power, horrendous resale.

You may get lucky as one of the posters here obviously did, but that is equivalent to putting 5 rounds in the cylinder and not shooting yourself.

TATA owns them, but that's not the problem. TATA owns Jaguar and they are excellent. LR didn't get enough of an infusion of Ford engineering and modernization and it shows.

Thanks Glass for contributing.

My 16 yr old un-killable Toyota Landcruiser laughs at these British and German high maintenance biotches. Range Rovers are good looking though, fa sho, but I will never buy one.
