Does anyone else hate being in weddings?

Call me miserable, downvote me- IDGAF.
Between all the unnecessary parties/showers, overpriced tuxedo rental companies, travel, hotels, and other bullshite pageantry of today’s weddings, I’d rather never be in one again. The only redeeming part of them is the bachelor party, which I usually end up blowing too much money on anyway.

I've been a best man 3 times... had the time of my life each time. One was my dad's third marriage and the other two were like brothers to me... getting to be such a big part of their day was amazing. Yea it gets expensive but more than worth it to me...

Other than the cost of the tux, it’s actually really fun so long as the people getting married are fun. Dry Baptist receptions are the worst even if their weddings are short, sweet, and to the point.

I enjoy it because statistics show that as a groomsman you have 20% better odds of nailing one of the bridesmaids.

The real issue is people who feel it is necessary to have a wedding in general. Go get the piece of paper downtown and be done with it. Also: You’re an adult, go buy your own kitchenware.

Hell no, I love being in weddings.
These are awesome, along with the reception. Weddings were fun when I was single, and now that I'm married, I still enjoy them with my wife.
