Does anyone else feel sorry for little kids whose parents are constantly snapping pics?

Some of my trashy Facebook parents friends post pictures and videos of their kids on a daily basis. Every cute/embarrassing/ memorable thing they do is recorded on video. I wouldn't want 1,000,000 pictures and videos of me from birth to high school on the internet. What about consent?

Definitely trashy. Not to mention Facebook is gathering so much data that the kids can be facial recognized instantly when it has pics from birth to toddler to pre teen its really creepy in a way.

This is my ex-wife. I can't stand it but she takes 1 million pics and posts 12321312098 times a day. My poor little girl just shys away anytime someone points a phone at her now. But she's too selfish and naive to understand that it may be unhealthy and she needs the Like's from facebook to make her feel important i guess.

Your thread title doesnt match your complaint.

I have a million pics/videos of my kids.

Not one on facebook or any other place on the internet

you know someone has serious issues if deleting Facebook is a big deal.

Yea, it is a bit ridiculous. That and the constant updates about what everyone is doing all day long. Do you really need to post that you're picking your kids up from school, or that you're turning in for the night..

I feel bad for kids whose parents are constantly on cell phones instead of reading, playin etc. with them. Me and my actual camera are not doing any harm if i snap a picture once in a while

Newsflash - your kids aren't any more special than anyone else's. People have been having kids all over the world for thousands of years and the chances are very good yours will grow up to be nothing of note.
