The pyramids were built when? Some time BC right?

Hydrogen was discovered in 1766.

If the Pyramid was a power plant, what was it powering? Again, if you have central creation and distribution of electricity, surely you are advanced enough to also have a form of writing and would leave that behind. A plastic CD is expected to take 1 million years to bio degrade in a landfill. You're telling me that whatever powered gadgets people had 15,000 years ago had all disintegrated?

Honestly, if the Pyramid is an ancient power plant then ancient aliens makes more sense as the builder than ancient humans. Because ancient humans would have left more evidence behind.

if a astroid hit earth and caused sea levels to rise dramatically wouldn't most of that evidence be covered by ocean

This. Quite simply a major cataclysm, maybe more than one, could have wiped out almost any evidence before a certain time.

evidence is a weak argument in my humble opinion. if our iteration of mankind were wiped clean tomorrow our 'evidence' would be gone in a few thousand years.

the whole argument of megalithic structures being found, ie, Gobekle Tepe, is there was an advanced civilization lost to a younger dryas cataclysm and our remaining species stumbled upon these works.

ancient egyptians have written they were survivors of Atlantis and came upon the pyramids...

all very interesting topics

I am not a skeptic, I want to believe, but I also am not going to do mental gymnastics to get to the answer I want to see. I think these are some pretty basic evidentiary problems that you can't just whisk away with a natural disaster.

If the structures of the Pyramid and Sphinx remained intact, surely some of these gadgets would have remained inside. Also, if the pyramid is a power plant, think of what our power plants look like. All kinds of signage and buttons and switches and meters everywhere. Even if you say "well the Egyptians removed all of that", the Egyptians made reference to the pyramid predating them, why not make reference to the weird stuff they found inside?

Again, think of what a power plant is and what that means for a society. There just would have to be more evidence left behind if they reached that level than a few stone megaliths.

Someone’s been paying attention to Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson. I can listen to those guys talk about this stuff for hours.

Can your computer read a floppy disk? You know something that was fairly common 20 years ago?

When’s the last time you saw an 8 track player?

Now put into perspective time.

The great pyramid was built ~3000 BC

To put a limit on their sophistication or to pretend to understand why they did it is asinine IMO.

Ancient aliens were nearly 100% Masonic Order followers, actually most of them were Shriners, whose wives were Order of the Eastern Star. They converted the Egyptians who allowed the aliens to build the pyramids as shrines to the Masonic order.

You can trace the little flying carpet go-cart teams of Shriners that you always see doing their precision diving exhibitions in their initiation parades directly back to the flying carpets the aliens flew all over Egypt back during that time.

Flying carpet proof

Those shriner guys carry some incredible pyramid secrets under those Fez Hats they wear.

Absolutely

No hieroglyphs or mummies have ever been found in any of the three pyramids of Giza.

There is evidence that it was used to generate power using chemical, sound and hydro

fascinating stuff

even the basic amateur dive into our past, which is me, certainly no expert, will leave the even half intelligent mind thinking...'something doesnt sound right'

i dont think anyone has THE answer, but there is a huge massive piece missing out of the human timeline.

i really enjoy scientists / archeologists point fingers at this alternative timeline of human history, yet, hate and despise anyone who points a questioning finger at THEIR ancient timeline of history.

because their timeline of history is garbage, and they know it.

Damn right it was a power plant, I've seen them show the hieroglyph of the huge light bulb on Ancient Aliens.

Big oil knows this and have been purposely squashing anybody who tries to make this knowledge public. The same thing that happened with the 50mpg carburetor.

Because astroids are big and hot and ice tends to melt around hot stuff

The new theories suggest a civilization built them before the ice age, thousands of years before the Egyptians. Then the Egyptians basically modified them.

The theory also suggest the knowledge possessed by said civilization was lost during the ice age due to an apocalyptic event and perhaps they knew about science that wasn’t rediscovered until the 1700s.

There are certainly convincing arguments for and against. The biggest argument for being the fact that we recently discovered stone buildings in Turkey that date thousands of years before the ice age, a period where all the modern scientists say humans could not build such structures. Yet they did and we have the proof.
