Since I got a CPAP, it mostly went away. Turns out that being able to breath while you sleep solves a lot if problems.

I used to get it a lot, but havent had it in a while until recently and this past 3 weeks Ive had it probably 6 times. It sucks, but Ive learned how to get out of it. The first 2-3 times were absolutely horrifying

I've learned how to wiggle my way out of it as well but sometimes i see some really fricked up stuff in my bedroom and it scares the absolute shite out of me. That shite seems super demonic

I have it once or twice a year.

There have been a few big threads about it over the years.

I think I experienced it once. Kind of scary, really.

Used to have it A LOT.
Get it a lot less frequently now. Maybe 2-3 times a year. Now that I know what it is, I don't tense up when it happens.

Everyone has sleep paralysis. Not everyone is awake for it.

I had a woman standing at the foot of my bed and she crawled up next to me and bit my face and started whispering an unknown language in my ear. Yeah.. kinda scary.

I used to have it quite often and it really sucked. It got to the point I’d sleep in certain positions to make it easier to force myself awake or feel less restrictive. Even tho I knew in my head what was going on, it was still sometimes scary as shite.

The main two factors I felt contributed to causing it was irregular sleep pattern and/or drinking caffeine too close to going to falling sleep. The later I think had the biggest impact. I quit drinking energy drinks or caffeine after noon and haven’t had an episode in a long time. They’ve become a lot more rare.

Literally everyone has sleep paralysis. If you didn't, you might jump off a cliff in your sleep.
