I have never understood cutting a dog's hair.

Be a man and tell your wife to go groom herself and leave the poor dog alone

Many dogs require grooming otherwise they get matted which can be extremely painful. They also need their nails trimmed and if not that can also be very painful.

PetSmart groomers aren't good. If you were lucky enough to find one that doesn't abuse the dogs, then it may be a reaction to a few things already mentioned.

I'd pay literally a few dollars more to not have your dog traumatized forever and go to a good local place.

It’s pretty normal for a dog to act timid after being groomed. Some stranger just removed a majority of their hair

That's why they do it in basic.

Which PetSmart? Mines acting weird too and I took him Saturday. He hasn’t been acting right since

Did you have to get the dog a kennel cough vaccine for the visit?

The vet next door to my dog’s groomer gave her a kennel cough vaccine (required to have within the past 6 months in order to be boarded) and it triggered an autoimmune disease that almost killed her. Spent a full 7 days in the ICU.

Check your dog’s gums. If they’re white-ish pale instead of pink, the dog is sick.

I just got a dog for my son’s birthday a month ago.

That’s great man, awesome! Your kid and the dog will be best buds.

He is a maltipoo

That’s not a dog. That’s just a highly priced stuffed animal. Go get your son a real dog, one that he can play with.

Take him to the vet and get him checked out. Petsmart groomers aren't known for being the best at taking care of dogs. Then find a groomer near you with good recommendations on Yelp or Facebook.

My dog got banned from Petsmart for biting a groomer. I guess he wouldn't give in to their butthole pleasures.

Yeah, every time I get him groomed.

He comes out of there with his new little fabric bandanna acting like he’s all that and a bag of chips.

Why did you get your son a maltipoo? Get that boy a real dog like a lab or a boxer or a German Shepherd.

Yes! My little dog got shaved 2 days ago and he’s been shivering and really seems like he’s embarrassed or shy. It’s weird.

I've heard about that anal glands and about the disgusting goop that comes out of them.

Reason #23 why a cat is a better pet.
Reason #22 is that cats don't have to EVER go to the groomer.
Reason #24 is that you don't ever have to bathe them.
