Im talking about scenes that aren't sad at all, but ones that have great people doing great and amazing things.
What about stories that describe greatness?

As a kid for some reason, the movie Miracle made me tear up even though I knew the story of the USA hockey upset.

I tear up every time James Dean cums on Mia Malkova’s face. It’s just beautiful.

Came here to say this.
It's what great film makers should aspire to.

Since I became a dad I find I get hit in the feelings more when I see acts of true unselfishness/kindness more than just about any other situation. Even things that are supposed to be sad.

Depends on the music. If there an epic score behind the visuals I can get goosebumps and eyes water. If the music sucks then it kills the vibe.

Bluto's speech in Animal House does it every time for me.

I teared up in Cars when Lightning sacrifices the race to let Cruz win.
