Interesting tidbit: reigning and multiple-time world F1 champion, Lewis Hamilton, says that is his favorite movie.

United 93.

Hot tears of rage, not sadness.

Im talking about scenes that aren't sad at all, but ones that have great people doing great and amazing things.

What about stories that describe greatness?

Yeah, wasn't it originally about the cheer squad at an upscale, private school?

Yeah, none of the racism and all of the schools they payed were integrated as well. There was no struggle between the integrated school and all-white schools. They also never ran to the Gettysburg cemetery, and there was no VA high school hall of fame at the time.

And I would have freaked out if I was Ronnie Bass and saw that they depicted me as a homo. Also completely false.

So yeah, more Disney propaganda.

No? The school had already been integrated for like 5-6 years, so there were no racial tensions, Bertier got in a car wreck after they won state at an awards banquet, not before. The game against Marshall was during the middle of the season, they won state 27-0. The dudes daughter was never really interested in football that much. Yoast didn’t get into the HOF because it didn’t exist, not because he told the refs to unfix the game

Ronnie Bass is the reason this was made into a film.

He's an exec at Disney.
