Not for those of us who could dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.

We had great pe teachers. We played something different every day. The teachers would always be out there coaching and refereeing. I honestly missed pe alot when I started playing in the band.

Dodgeball has always been used to pick on students who aren't athletic, a tool for bullies to be able to go after the "nerds" with school approval.

It needed to be barred a long time ago.

This won't do a damn thing to prevent bullying.

frick off. Scruffy was one of those "nerds". Competition and failure is good for kids.

Red Rover was our favorite game in Elementary School because we did not have a gym. That got pretty wild at times but we all survived. We played Dodge Ball once we got to the 9th grade and moved to the High School and had PE in the gym. We kicked the ball at the others most of the time.

Meh, mostly the girls and nerds would just stand there and let us take them out early so they could go sit down.

We used to play dodge ball using real baseballs. And rocks.

This is the only problem I have with it. It's PE, all the kids need to be up and moving. The ones that are up aren't getting much exercise either. I doubt this will fix anything with our fatty problem though.

Dodgeball was my jam. Always looked forward to Friday's when they'd let us play.

The Montessori school next door to me plays a version called gaga, which looks lame as frick. It's only dodgeball if you're in danger of a concussion.

I was being sarcastic. We played tons of dodgeball at Punahou.

Makes sense. Fat kids need exercise forced on them by the state, but they are the first ones resting on the bench in this activity.

Come up with something that keeps them moving.

There's no doubt that exercise is important. But our country and our children are fat because of the sugar filled high calorie diets we consume.
