my nephew's wife wears a fricking mask everywhere. she craves attention 100% of the time and she thinks the mask helps attract attention.

and, she's already had the virus and recovered.

Most people in Austin probably do. It really is ridiculous.

Early this morning I saw a guy out running with a mask on. I thought to myself this guy must be absolutely petrified of the virus if he is out exercising at 5:30 in the morning with a mask on. I got to wondering if he wears one in his house.

Elevation training, baw.

It's shocking that the OT isn't familiar with this exercise technique

Maybe he has allergies? It is pollen season. Who knows? I’ve caught myself wearing my mask driving home but I work in a hospital and wear one all day. Sometimes I forget I’ve got the damn thing on.

And what if monkeys fly out of my arse? You know, since we're talking completely stupid hypotheticals.

I see one of my neighbors take her trashcan to the street every Sunday and Wednesday while wearing a mask (about a 15 foot walk from garage to street). I can't imagine she is putting the mask on just to go outside for 20 seconds so she must being wearing it (at least to some degree) inside her home.

Because people like he's describing are why governments are hesitant to remove mask mandates. They don't want Masked Covidian freaks like that screaming bloody murder at them. So easier to just leave the mandates in place.

ETA: Same reason businesses are leaving them in place. They don't want to deal with the Masked Covidians trying to cancel them and negatively impact their business.

I always assumed that was a given. I am curious to know if they have a Mister Rogers situation where they change their masks to a more causal mask when they walk in the door.

I live in the garden district which has its share of progressives. I’ve witnessed people leaving their cars and entering their homes in masks.

I attended a club volleyball tournament this weekend. I saw a woman with a respirator and googles (over her glasses) with a face shield. What in the frick are you scared of?? And if it's that scary, nothing short of a fully encapsulated suit would save her anyway. People are fricking retarded.

I too have seen runners, cyclers, a few in-line skaters, etc. wearing masks with nobody within 20 ft. of them and exercising alone.

Same with people alone in their cars with the windows rolled up and wearing masks.

frick, if you're that paranoid, just stay home and seal the windows and doors.

I saw some dumbass taking his trash out in a mask the other day. There are definitely people who are low IQ enough to believe that viruses can travel hundreds of yards in the air so masks will help them in their homes. I see a lot of uneducated urban society members who wear them in bizarre circumstances honestly

I saw an elderly man cutting his grass yesterday. He was wearing a mask and face shield. He had to stop to pull down the mask to spit. It was a very sad sight.
