Do you think there are people who wear mask in their own home?

Early this morning I saw a guy out running with a mask on. I thought to myself this guy must be absolutely petrified of the virus if he is out exercising at 5:30 in the morning with a mask on. I got to wondering if he wears one in his house.

I'm betting if he's running alone at 5:30 in the morning with a mask on, this is going to resolve itself fairly quickly for that guy.

My thought would be that he’s pretty badass to be able to run with a mask on. That’s some higher level training

Absolutely, if they wear them riding solo in their car I can guarantee they wear them at home

Oh yeah for sure.

My wife said she talked to a couple yesterday when they brought their kid in and until they got vaccinated they hadn’t left their home.

I’d be willing to bet there’s a substantial amount of people who just leave it on CNN and think the outside world is just full of people dieing left and right from this unstoppable disease and everyone else is being shot by cops while the peacefully protest at Nike and Footlocker.

Probably more afraid of being reported as non-compliant by the masktapo.

Consistently see a guy power washing his driveway/fence with no one even outside of their homes anywhere near him... and he’s wearing a mask AND a face shield. While power washing. Give me a break buddy

What if he is training for a race that requires him to wear a mask, so he is training with it on?

Amateur hour

Real devotees are wearing Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs) with true HEPA filtration systems.

It will run you $1200-$1500, but you can't put a price on your health.

What if he is doing it because he works for a company that requires it, so he is doing it for that purpose.
What if he has some chemicals added to the solution he is spraying that could irritate his throat and eyes?

That would be the only thing that makes sense

I’m in an online group for women who had babies last summer. There are more than a few who have not let their parents (babies’ grandparents) meet their babies yet. And many who, if they did meet, have not and will not let the grandparents hold the baby until they’re fully vaccinated. And even then, they will have to wear a mask when they hold the baby. Our babies are all 7-8 months old now. These are not immunocompromised babies or grandparents. They’re just that paranoid.

We lost one of our parents to COVID. I get that it’s really bad luck for some people. It was devastating. But I can only imagine how shitty I’d feel if we never let him hold his only grandson during the time when we were all perfectly healthy & asymptomatic out of fear.

There are a lot of people who will never mentally recover from the fear, and will live as hermits long after COVID is gone. It’s sad.

No, it’s his house. It’s the same guy that brought a Clorox wipe to get his trash can from the street after the trash men dumped it. So pretty sure it’s not a company value....

There’s an older couple by us and I’ve seen them inside with masks on. They wear them everywhere.

I have an employee that wears a mask at our office, when nobody working or walking in does. She’s all about her health, as she’s a vegan as well.
However, she “vapes” nearly every two hours, on the hour.

I know there are

Saw my neighbor wearing on in her house a while back while she was doing the dishes, and I know she lives alone

And you care , Why??
You do you, others will do themselves.
Some of y’all crack me up worrying so much about what others are doing regarding masks. Let it be.
