State would have had more money for roads

I hope everyone voted to keep the state police out of the transportation fund

Check out their salary schedule online.....most overpaid dept in state government

The money doesn’t go to salaries

It appropriated for the State Police to use for more traffic control. More cars, more radars, add more officers, better equipment. I’m all for making our state and roads safer.

If you enjoy freedom, you'd vote for it, but most people in this state don't, so it probably won't pass

Guess you’d like to legalize all drugs with your freedom based argument.

Feel like there's more to it than that, and I haven't done any deep diving on the states financials.

The money isn’t allocated for infrastructure.

Read the entire amendment and not just the summary and you’ll understand.

What are the negatives? Just curious why people would be against it.

I already can play fantasy sports legally now with my friends, just like I can play poker or make a bet against the spread. By formally allowing it parish by parish, you open the door for "government regulation" of it, i.e.: taxing you until you fricking bleed on online play if you pay a company to handle the logistics of the game for you.

how do you play it legally online? I’m hoping if it passes it would be regulated and more on the “ up and up”

I asked my assistant what she voted on this today.

She said she doesn't play fantasy sports or even know what they are, and she asked her dad and he said there's too much gambling in Louisiana already.

Her mom works at a casino, and they all play every single powerball, megamillions and they probably all spend about 20-40 a week on scratch offs.

Cracked me the frick up.

I find it hilarious when people on here act like they’re so much more intelligent than most of the other posters. You know that real brilliant intellectuals don’t post on anonymous LSU fan forums right? I hate to rain on your parade Einstein.

Wow all I have to do is hit submit on this post and it proves you wrong. Easiest argument I’ve ever won.
