I think it does little to nothing but mega doses can cause more harm than good.

The real answer: for most people vitamins are a waste

If your diet is truly and atrociously deficient in something, then there is SOME value. But if that's the case…change your diet.

If you eat a balanced diet, multivitamins are a waste. Magnesium can help if you have problems shitting.

But yeah, vitamins are an old school gimmick.

I take Vit D supplements because my levels are extremely low. Dr. usually gives me a prescription but I've been taking supplements lately.

Wife takes Mg and D and fish oil and turmeric and black pepper and on and on and on

Absolutely, I think vitamins and minerals can make a real difference.

After realizing I wasn't getting enough nutrients from my diet alone, I started taking a multivitamin, which really helped boost my overall energy levels and focus throughout the day.

Besides, I started using testosterone supplements from https://militarymuscle.co. Honestly, the results felt pretty significant. I noticed improvements in my muscle strength and a better overall sense of well-being.

95% of the world takes no vitamins or supplements. They seem to be fine.

Ad an aside…. It’s quite normal to see overweight women at grocery store with a few bottles of vitamins/supplements.

Why are they usually gummies? If you want candy, just buy it. Quit kidding yourself.

Doesn’t matter. They didn’t have access to or the knowledge of modern supplement routines 50-60 years ago.

I think thats kinda the point. And you missed it

They didnt have access to products (that people are building vacation properties by selling to you) and still lived to 100. Yet now that we have this wonderful knowledge and routines, the average life expectancy began dropping several years ago

I know magnesium supplements help me with muscle twitching and cramping and L-Arginine and L-Citrulline complex help with boners. I also take a vitamin D and K2 supplements. Vitamin D helps with many things and vitamin K2 ensures calcium is properly allocated to the bones and teeth and not clogging your circulatory system.

In 2013 I was having several issues. Fatigue, joint pains, etc. I finally went to the doctor and I did blood work. My vitamin d was extremely low. My doctor explained to me that when your body is really low on vitamin d it starts pulling it from your bone marrow and that's when it starts causing health issues.

When I was a kid and through HS, I used to be outside as much as possible. I think one thing that contributed to the issue was that working and being in the office for several years by that time, I wasn't out in the sun nearly as much as I used to be. There were a few other small things going on, but I take VD, B12 and a one a day. If I run out of VD and I forget and don't take it for 2, 3 weeks I will start to feel it.

With that said, to answer does supplements do anything, I think it depends on the person. Everyone's body is different. B12 is my flu shot. No bullshite, the last time I got the flu I had ran out of B12 and had been without for months.

My doctor put me on a supplement regime to boost my immune system. He also told me to eat healthy food, get plenty of sleep, exercise, and get fresh air and sun. I have noticed that I feel better on the supplements and don't get sick as often as I used to.

Greens powder. Greens are the hardest thing to get enough of in your diet. Everything else you should be getting if you're eating right.
