No, but I will call or text the important people. Facebook is a good tool to help me remember though.

On a side note, for the last couple years I have been deleting my Facebook account a few days before my birthday and then reinstating it after. This way I am not obligated to thank everybody who wished my a happy birthday or wish them one on their birthday.

Not often. I'll send my friends a text on their birthday.

I never tell them on Facebook but the site does help as a reminder for close friends/family and then I'll usually send a text.

I have a lot of friends on FB from high school that I don't see very often. I have good memories of them but they are starting to blur together as the years go on. I've considered sending a short private message of a random memory on their birthday. I always enjoy when someone mentions a random memory from long ago that I may have forgotten.

I know, I know, everyone hates Facebook. But for those who have it, are you one of those people who tell everyone happy birthday? Every year the same people who never talk to me all write on my timeline and then I, reluctantly, have to write this dumb fricking post thanking them. TLDR: I'm just a grumpy a-hole who thinks Facebook is destroying the phrase "Happy Birthday" and turning it into a job
No, I never tell anyone happy Birthday. I don't tell my wife happy bday or happy anniversary or happy Valentine's day on FB, and I make sure to make fun of all my closest male friends that do so to their wives.

I try to. I figure it's my way of being nice once a day.

Zero happy birthday posts on FB from me, even family and close friends. If I have their number and talk to them regularly, they get a call or text. I stopped doing it when I changed my birthday on FB to 1/1/1900 for shits and giggles and I got several birthday wishes over the few years I had that.

I always wondered what those people thought when they saw my family and close friends wish me happy birthday on my real birthday.

About three years ago, I changed a setting that (I think) hides my birthdate. Instead of getting 100 birthday wishes, I only get a few (which I'm assuming are from people that have a separate calendar of birthdays or know mine, such as a few of my aunts).

I will if it's a super hot bitch that I haven't seen in awhile just to remind her that, "yeah, I'm still here".

I usually use Facebook to alert me about birthdays, and then I text or call people I care about.

Here's some types of folks I would expect to be on FaceBook, so no.

I don't expect a thank you for people I wish happy birthday on facebook.

IDGAF if I hardly talk to them, if they are worth me clicking accept for a friend request I'm going to be nice enough to wish them happy birthday.

If a person isn't even worth that minuscule amount of effort to me they aren't worth being a FB friend.

Maybe you should purge your FB account of some people?

No, but I do look to see whose birthday it is so I could delete them if I haven't talked to them in a year.

What about ones you already slept with and no longer talk with?
