Keep in touch with about 6-8 high school friends from class of 96. Mostly guys but a couple ladies.

Our class had 30. I keep in close contact with 10. This weekend, 6 of us are getting together for a fish fry.

4 or 5 of them. Most of them are still stuck in our hometown of Houma and still in the same HS mindset

Nah. My friend since kindergarten is a hot head. We went to New Orleans about 20 years ago and tried to fight everyone on Bourbon. He wasn't even drinking.
Another one tried hooking up with my wife at the time while I worked nights.
Another one lives a swinger lifestyle with his wife. Apparently, she's sought after according to her Facebook page but she's ugly as frick.

My best friend from school is dead and I still speak with one other guy. I don’t really have the desire to talk with anyone else from high school.

High school graduating class was 104 pax. At 50 year graduation, about 60 showed up. Facebook links keep us in touch since then. Had 5 couples that married and stuck together

Have a group of 5-7 HS friends that I see once every couple of years and we have an ongoing text thread that’s been around for at least 6 years now.

To be totally honest with you Rouge, I didn’t really have many friends in high school. I had more of what you would call acquaintances and people I would just kinda hang with before school and at lunch. There was one guy who shared a love of metal and hard rock music with me, and we would burn CD’s for each other. I think he was the closest I had to a real friend in high school.

No, left town at 17 and never went back. Just grew apart, most of them stayed after college and others spread out

Our High School has a reunion every year, all classes. I try to attend every year, missed last year due to being up in Omaha. Had to watch the Tigers win a National Championship!

Nope. Had a pretty bad depression spell that lasted a few years and pretty much became a hermit and stopped talking to everyone.
Then covid happened and only a few friendships ended up making it through those two back to back punches
