It’s a totally declining activity, but do any of you still read newspapers?
ETA: to avoid confusion, this does not include online newspaper articles. Asking solely about hard print papers.

I’ll read news articles online

My co worker that still uses a flip phone brings a paper to work. He's so weird.

I know it’s old fashioned but for me it’s nice to wake up and go walk out to pick up the newspaper in the morning. Even if I only read a little. And I’ll just recycle the paper and use the bags to pick up after the dog so it’s a win win.

i passed a newspaper stand with a NYT paper in it and saw it was SIX DOLLARS
what better way to increase your viewership than charging $6 for the Sunday Times.

No I used to subscribe to three different ones. I would pick up one in every town I went to. Newspaper journalism sucks today.

I don’t subscribe, but there is nothing more enjoyable than reading the paper while drinking your morning coffee. Reading online doesn’t even compare...

yes. I get one at work, and don't want to subscribe online to read. So I read a hard copy.

The advocate throws them in my yard, I've never paid for them or read them.

I just stick to enraging click bait articles now. I much prefer that over a journalist with integrity.

I subscribe to the wsj. I think home delivery is the same price as online, so I get a paper every morning too.
I read online 95% of the time, but I do read the print weekend edition.

The advocate is straight garbage. It’s only good for paper mache, crawfish tables and birdcages

Is that like cash and dial tones?
I remember all of those!

No because newspapers are bare bones these days. Not worth price of subscription
Posted on 8/16/19 at 1:57 pm to HailHailtoMichigan!
Yes I do. I stare at a computer screen all day at work or at my phone, the last thing I want to do in the morning with a cup of coffee is read an article on a 6" device.
