Hell no. I went to Hammond. I stayed for a couple years, but I couldn't take it any more. I've live all over SE LA. Hammond is, simply put, horrible.

I live over 1000 miles away. That said, I could definitely see myself raising a family there. It's a good place to grow up, just not a good place for a single guy in his 20s

I moved away from central Mississippi to the Mississippi gulf coast because I hated where I lived and wanted to live in a fun place with good schools.
