I love radio. I’ve got a big CCrane in the shop and a pocket CCrane I take with me backpacking. XM for the cars.

ETA:

I’ve made some adjustments to the radio in the shop and pick up stations from both Chattanooga and Atlanta clear as day. I live two hours away from both.

Listen to the Radio - Don Williams

Holy crap... I wondered if Don Williams is still with us and not only is he, he still sounds great!

NPR and local sports talk in the morning. Not much other than the drive to work. I listen to music on my phone or streaming from Amazon Unlimited most of the time.

I just like being part of a live audience instead of being off alone in space with other media.

When I was a new driver I was lost somewhere at night and had no idea where I was. I would come to a stop sign and just guess left or right. I was listening to a Green Day tape and had to turn it off and put the radio on because I was too alone.

I commute a LOT and drive a LOT to get the kids and shite.

Radio and Spotify are always on.

I switch it all up. But in order of popularity of show and music on the stations:

Richard Condon, John Osterlind, Kidd Kraddick, That Woody and his fricktards show on 92.3, and even Bobby CockMonkey Bones sometimes.

But mostly I listen to audiobooks from the Liberry app and Podcasts/Music on spotify.

That’s not too entertaining when you’re sober.

I like pop music. It keeps me from wanting to kill people.

I used to listen to 680 The Fan but they've really started to irritate me lately. So right now it's Michael Savage and some occasional Walton & Johnson via the phone.

Cell phones are still radios, though, just a different band and a different encoding.

I have 1 preset in my car. Its Duke FM The Legends of Country. It's all I listen to in the car during normal day to day driving.

On a longer trip I'll stream music or put on an audiobook.
