Do you say girls or women?

For a female over the age of, I dunno, 30. Saying girl sounds weird but saying woman sounds weirder for some reason.

There's something, I don't know, "smooth" about calling a group as a group of women. I don't know why. I feel like I am on a quest or something.

Depends on the situation, but I almost never say women.
Either girls or ladies. You only say women when you're pissed at a group of them.
