Hes saying post tax which I'm assuming he means pretax retirement, insurance, etc which means he's over 200k pretax. By his posting history I'm calling bullshite.

Sounds about right if you live in the boonies with no wife, kids, social life, or travel/vacations.

I do but I don’t have kids or a wife. If someone saves 15% they are already winning at life so 50% ends up being about 0.1% of the population with unique circumstances.
