As a vocation I mean. Do you respect their opinions? View them as generally intelligent? Or Do you see them as lazy?

I’m not specifically talking about mega-church pastor charlatans. I mean your run of the mill Christian Preachers. Do you think they have an easy job?

When they do their job yes, when they tell you who to vote for, no

Only the one at my church. The rest are charlatans.

As a Christian, I'd say yes, for the most part. Like in everything, a few bad apples spoil it for everyone.

Many of them remind me of snake oil salesmen but I do know a decent one.

The few I grew up around seemed to act entitled. The best one was banging some lady he was counseling.

If they are a good person, sure. I don't believe in it, but I believe that everyone should do what they can to find happiness in their life and if that's what does it for them more power to them.

Now if they get all preachy to me, they can GFT.

Not the ones that live in 20 million dollar homes. All in the service of the Lord of course. I respect the regular pastors.

Decent was probably a poor choice of word I should have said agreeable to me. This pastor quotes philosophers and keeps a positive message instead of the hellfire and brimstone bullshite that I grew up with and still see at many churches.

Dude starts yelling...and I don't care what he's yelling...I'm out.

Considering that pastors at smaller churches typically do the work of several people while having to work other jobs to supplement their income, I'd say that the job isn't very easy. Why would you think they have an easy job?

I didn’t say that. I was asking if the OT thought that.

How do you define an easy job?

Yes, they go to a whole lot of school in order to be ordained. They’re well versed on doctrine of the Christian faith. Now, they’re gonna run in all directions politically.

But for the most part, they’re after God’s own heart.
