No, for some odd reason, I enjoy cutting grass... It's therapeutic.

No but our landscaper cuts the front yard often.

Yup and clean the house. Well worth it for me.

I do. Pay $75 a cut for 1 acre lot.

I do not pay anyone if I can do it or can reasonably learn it from the internet.
My next fairly large project is a breeze block wall for my hot tub courtyard.

Yes indeed! Same guy with a crew since the early 90's. He does more than just mowing, edging and weed eating. I take pride in my yard AND my time!

Pretty much. On oil and home repairs, I do it because I want it done right. Not hire a methhead to do 70% of a job never to be seen again.

I had 2 bad ankle surgeries over the past 18 months and did pay a guy to come do it a couple times a month but I'm back in the groove again and now doing it myself again.
First time in my 72 years I paid someone to cut my grass.

This.
Stuff’s not hard to fix. Troubleshooting is the hardest part.

Yes of course I pay someone
Only lazy people do this.
Unless you have multiple acres, there is no reason to waste money on it when it can be done yourself. Now, the next comment will be “my time is too valuable”. Again, unless it’s multiple acres, it doesn’t take that long.
Bottom line, it’s laziness.

Yep, I do too, although I wish I had a bigger place to justify a zero-turn mower. I'd love to have one of those things.

Nah, I enjoy the stress free nature of it and no one would do it exactly like I want anyway.
Posted on 6/14/25 at 3:07 pm to TechDawg2007
No, I am not a yard cuck

That’s really not that much…
Why did you feel the need to add this? The pretentiousness here is faggy.

Well that’s why your yard does not look like a golf course.
