Is adding a grill guard to a Land Cruiser immature or smart/boss af?

As I've gotten older I do less and less stuff to vehicles I get. Every vehicle I've ever owned has been a black chevy, nowadays the only "mods" I do are paint the front bowtie red and tint the windows. That's enough for me.

Nothing more than Window Tint, and when the OEM Tires are done, higher performance tires.

why would anyone want their truck to have more power than factory?

Same reason anyone wants more power - it’s fun. Also, power is not the limiting factor on towing in trucks...bad guess.

We all put nitrogen in our tires. Some of us just put approximately 21 molecules of oxygen and 1 molecule of argon in along with every 78 molecules of nitrogen.

I put a spoiler on my truck, really helps with the downforce and adds at least 15 hp

When I bought my truck the dealer already threw window tint, floor mats, and a bed liner in it. I have no desire to put a bed cover or a tacky brush guard on my truck.

In high school and early college, I modified almost everything on my Jeep and beat the crap out of it.

Then when I had more responsibilities I got a boring reliable vehicle and didn't modify a thing. Frankly, I was tired of working on my vehicle every week.

Then a few years ago I decided I wanted something fun again, so I bought something fun from the factory that had a warranty. Now that the warranty is about up I want to modify it, just haven't yet. I'd like to do a simple tune and some lightweight forged wheels. Still would like to keep a stock look though.

Very little to the daily drivers. Things such as better floor mats, tint, tow hitch. My weekend driver has very subtle mods that aren't visible unless you know the differences.
That said, I don't get the hate for those that do, even the extreme. I may not care for it, but it's their money and if they are happy with it and it doesn't make the vehicle unsafe, then I just let it go and move on. There are bigger concerns in the world than a guy stopped next to you with a lifted truck with big tires.

yes, I know suspension and transmission is, I was trying to be nice because putting cam and headers on a truck is stupid it's not a sports car it's not made to go fast so what's the point?

33's (soon to be 35's), 2.5" lift, wheel spacers, steel bumpers, headlights, tint, radio, speakers.

Because it’s fun to make things fast. What’s the point of caring how someone else spends their time and money?
