I just added it up and I’ve spent $350 in the last 4 months, is this high?

Yep. Listening to the GoT series right now. Finish each one in about a month, so $12-$15 (or whatever the monthly rate is) a book

Yes, they are free through your local library and the right app. They also have them on CDs as well. You're welcome.

This. Why would you ever spend that much when they are free from your local library with the overdrive app?

I use Audible and it’s definitely not a rip off. That being said, I won’t buy anything for more than 1 credit and all the books I listen to are generally 35 - 50 hrs, so I get my money’s worth.

Definitely, IMO. So much added detail. I've finished book one and halfway through book two, and its been worth it so far. Only issue is that some of the voices the guy uses for certain charachters are either really annoying or don't match what I feel the charachter should sound like. On the other hand, theres a frick ton of charachters and only one reader so thats a bit unavoidalke.

Its been a breat buffer/recap while waiting for season 8.

You could save a lot of money by learning to read

I kid. I love audio books for traffic, flights, and long road trips.

Get a library card and download the Overdrive app. You have access to an unlimited number of audiobooks for free. They have most (although not all) books, and you may have to wait in a line for some, but it's definitely worth it.

I have audible and use 1 credit per month when the books isn't in the library. The rest of the books I get on the library app for free. Probably go through 2-3 per month and never run out.

It’s not great, but addictive

If you want GREAT look at the Bobiverse series by Dennis Taylor, awesome 3 book series
