Not happy at the moment.
I'm Enrolling in meteorology school in the spring semester. I've always had a passion for weather throughout my life. My only regret now was not majoring in it when I was younger. It will be a fun ride and difficult at the same time. I haven't taken a math class in 8 years
At the end of it all I'd like to be doing something in the meteorology field till the day I die.

I loved my job till my department got laid off about two months ago. But one question you forgot to ask, Do you like your co-workers? My answer would have been I HATED THEM. My supervisor was a nit picking POS, The women was a back stabbing cut throat bitch and the other was a lazy POS. All of them relied on seniority to stay employed.
I miss the pay and the job and that is it...

I average about 1 hour a day actually working, but I get paid for 8. Things could be worse.

I enjoy it. Interesting, mentally challenging, and a lot of cool people at the office.
Doesn't pay as much or have as much status as the last one but I'm a lot happier.

Currently work for Chevron. Absolutely hate my job and hate the company more. Just too much oilfield trash partnered with a company who couldn't even manage a 7 year olds bank account.
Have been looking for another job outside the O&G industry. Got something in the works right now and it will be a glorious day when I give my two weeks.

I mostly hate my job. I think I would hate almost anything that I have to do 40 hours a week.
Realistically, life is so short that all you should do is enjoy it. If you work 40 hours a week for 30 years, you probably wasted a lot your life. I can do without a house, expensive car, most possessions, etc...I wouldn't mind just working a small amount for room and board somewhere and just enjoying my life.

I live with it. It's hit or miss in terms of work, which makes the day pass slowly right now.

I love it. HS coach and science teacher at an awesome school. The pays not great, but it's never boring.

Congrats, you've described one of the few jobs that benefits from society while contributing less than a lawyer.

Love it. Real estate has been booming the last few years and so has construction. The disaster sucks but it has brought a lot of work.

I like my job in and of itself. I don't like the bullshite that goes along with it. Micromanaging managers. Having to placate managers who have no idea what they're doing.
