Hated my last job. Went back to school and love what I'm doing now.

I love it most days but some days I question my life choices.

If you dont love what you do, continue to do it because you have to pay the bills but when you are off try to turn your passion into your job and eventually it will work out.

Its hard work but nothing in life is free.

At what point do you say screw it and just work to pay the bills?

There are parts of my job that I really like, and parts that are really shitty. I feel like this is going to be the case in most instances. If you're doing something that you love all the time, chances are you probably aren't getting paid a lot of money to do it.

I think the key is to find a balance between enjoyment of what you do for work, and the amount of money you can make while doing the job.

Find something that is tolerable, but pays well.

Generally yes. I like my company and they treat their employees well. I'm in a temporary funk due to moving to a new position that has a much slower pace than what I've been used to for the past 8 years, but I'll pop out of it. Price of oil is kind of a wet blanket over the industry too.

I sell malt to craft brewers all over the country. It's all but required that I drink good beer on the job. I only see my boss four of five times/yr, and he's cool as hell, I fly enough to get bumped to first fairly frequently, and I work from home when not traveling.

I really love my job. Air travel can be a PITA and it could always pay a little better.

I retired from FedGov on December 31., 2015. There was a time when I absolutely loved my profession and the agency that I worked for. At the end, I still loved my profession but, I hated the organization. It had become downright depressing to come to work. On Sunday evening, I would find myself literally getting sick to my stomach because I was thinking about what I had to face on Monday morning. It was endless meetings, new rules, regulations, new requirements, more paperwork and less results. More micro management with less results. Incompetent coworkers. Lazy coworkers. Bad managers,
really bad managers!

The attrition had become so bad that employees were retiring in droves and ineligible people were starting to resign as well. It was quite literally transforming into a DMV type of work environment.

I'm so glad and thankful that I made it. I've been out for 9 months and I'm starting to think about my next career.

I enjoy design and implementation and having the ability to see my teams work being enjoyed by the general population. So in a way yes, and I do love $$$.

I do commission sales in the finance industry. I love it most days but can be very stressful at times.

I love my job. So much so that i don't like where I live but I won't move because I do not want to quit.

It's seriously the best job in the world.

I like mine. I don't mind working nearly as much as any other job. Beautiful setting, relaxed environment and doing stuff I enjoy doing. Hours are strange, I don't have a real set schedule and I get three months off a year.

While I wouldn't particularly say I enjoy my job, I don't hate it.

I work for the state so it's pretty laid back, pays fairly decent especially if you include benefits, and there's a surprisingly good bit of room for advancement.

I do really enjoy not having to worry about a damn thing past 4:15 M-F. Hell, I don't even know what my office looks like at 4:16.
