Can’t stand them. Two of the most narcissistic, clueless and selfish people I’ve ever met. They’re Kamala supporters also.

Like? Let’s just say I never see them or hear from them and that’s awesome!

ETA: no they are not dead.

I like mine. Part of the reason I married my wife. Her family culture is similar to mine. Couldn’t imagine marrying a woman whose family I couldn’t stand…seems like a horrible way to start a marriage and likely a glimpse into the future

This is huge. I suggest this to any young people out there. While it’s not required and you can overcome it otherwise it sure makes your life better if your Inlaws are cool.

But if you grew up in a family that’s not what you want your kids to grow up like then going for the opposite isn’t a bad thing.

I loved my in-laws. They were both great people and fun to be around.

I have two friends who had different experiences. After one of them's MiL died, his FiL said to him, "I never understood why she hated you so, but she did," and handed him a beer. He and the FiL were good buddies.

Both gone but loved them dearly. I miss them more than I do my own parents.

My MIL is the cutest little Opelousas coonass and Pop is basically a renaissance man. They stood by me during a hard patch when many in-laws would go for the throat.

Love my father in law who’s a great man and like a second dad to me, pretty neutral leaning to dislike my mother in law who’s frankly annoying as shite and has no boundaries. She’s very involved and pushy on things she knows nothing about and it drives me insane. She does love her daughter though so that’s a plus for me
