I grew up in the Deep South but recently moved to the Midwest and actually enjoy winter but I find I'm in the vast minority.

I'd much prefer a good 25° day with three inches of snow to 12 hours of 100° heat index and an afternoon thunderstorm.

Wearing a jacket beats swamp arse any day.

I like cold when it's hot and hot when it's cold.

Neither. Like fall and spring due to the fact that they’re between extremes.

I like warm weather. 85-90.

Cold weather blows once it gets below about 45-50

Warm weather activities are just more fun to me. Swimming, boating, beach trips, fishing, etc. Outside of hunting in Louisiana, there’s nothing to do when it’s cold.

I'm hunting a jacket anytime the temps drop below 72. Hate cold weather

Cold all day every day. You can always add a layer of clothing, but there is only so much you can take off in public.

I can always layer up with more clothes, but I simply cannot take enough off to cool down without breaking the law.

Give me cold weather over hot weather

I'd prefer seasons without long periods of either extreme.

Yeah but it sucks arse when you're in an area where they can't handle three inches of snow and roads are an unmitigated shitshow.

At least with the heat you can go to the pool or still freely move around your area.

I'm a spring and fall person. 60s-70s. Low humidity.

As I get older, cold weather more and more. I do a whole lot more outdoors in Texas during the cold months. Summertime is just oppressive heat and it is just pool weather and kids sports during the summer for outdoor activity at my age.

I frickin hate cold weather. I'd rather 100° over 40° every day of the year. I've lived in the southeast my whole life and anything under about 55 is a no from me dawg.

You know, when you think about it in a purely survival mindset, cold weather is far better than hot weather, if for no other reason than food storage and preserving. Hot weather is a Petri dish for food spoilage whereas cold weather is far more conducive to preserving, and keeping food, even freeze dried food from going bad. This probably has a lot to do with population differences from North to South pre electricity and refrigeration in North America. Growing seasons are shorter, but if you prepare properly, you stand a much better chance of survival long term.

But who knows... Maybe me and science are wrong.
