Without looking it up of course.

Went to a small public school that was very close knit. We sang it after every football game and it’s now forever etched in my mind. Couldn’t tell you two words of ULM’s but I’ll never forget that song.

Nope

ETA: my high school was only a year old when I started/transferred my freshmen year. Everyone had previously bussed to the next town. I’m not even sure when the alma mater was written.

No, I was on the football team and we never sang in after games whether we won the weather we lost, we always went straight to the locker room.

That was back in the early 90s, maybe it wasn’t that big of a deal then. Maybe they do it now. No idea.

Actually, I do. An Army Of Buckeyes in Gilmer TX preceded Ohio St. Sung to the tune of The Stars And Stripes.

Yes the lyrics are pretty stupd but they're etched on my brain.

BTW I'm very jealous of the Mandeville Skippers fight song.

nope

my high school was decent size (1300) but we had no football team

I did play soccer. but we weren't gay enough to sing it in high school

it was opposite of gay at lsu to wait till after the game to sing it with the players

What kind of loser knows their high school alma mater? That sounds like a very New Orleans thing to do.

No, but I’m pretty sure cannabis was the school flower.

Our band was so terrible I think we gave up on playing a fight song completely.

High school - yes

LSU - yes

SLU - no

* If if weren’t for football, I would not know either one.

Graduated from high school 43 years ago and know every word of it. Growing up in a smaller town that has a rabid football fan base and a parent who taught at the school and eventually was the principal, I've probably heard it a thousand times.

Thanks for bringing it up...now it will be stuck in my head all day.
