Those businesses closed due to the downturn in the market, not because Lafayette has ghetto leadership and high crime. The city has held up pretty well. Not many businesses have closed in Lafayette proper

I see it as a city with charm and history that has higher prices due to this, and not the industry and opportunity it offers.

I like Laffayette, people love to clown on it, but it's a neat smaller city.

Yeah, what a bunch of losers going after tech sector jobs. Lafayette should go after those sweet minimum wage service industry jobs.
