I think you're allowed to try and make whatever point you want regardless, but whatever.

I just don't see why you're trying to split hairs with me. The Northshore is a considerably father commute than anywhere on the south shore outside of Laplace. I don't drive 15 miles total round trip, and a northshore commute would be at least double that each way.

If your life isn't better with kids then what's the point in having them?

Left two years ago without a hint of regret. Louisiana in general is just a terrible shithole.

Meh. My first Mardi Gras with my daughter last year was amazing. Christmas in the Oaks (frick you PC people, it's Christmas) was better. The only things that are difficult is friends making spur of teh moment plans to do something, but it's a small price to pay to miss out on those things..

Bottom line is you love the city so your daughter just magnified that love in areas

I despise this shithole with about every ounce of my being so situations with my son magnify that in the negative sense

Then you need to nut up and tell your wife yall are getting the frick out. You shouldn't have to be that unhappy with where you live. SUrely there is some sort of compromise.

BTW, I appreciate that you actually respond to my posts. instead of just posting a meme or emoticon.

Nothing wrong with that. Different strokes and all. Plus I won't have to worry about your son banging my daughter.
