Not a cuck but have been approached by a co-worker and another time by an old friend about swinging. I never talked to either again.

To each their own, but I didn’t see ever coming back from that conversation.

I was barely friends with her... I knew of her in HS, but we didn’t hang out at all... we connected at a house party like 10 years after high school and it was on when she told me about her days as a gymnast for Temple.

The dude is like 4-5 years older than us... unless she told him and/or showed her a picture? I lived down south for the past like 15 years and I’m not on FB...

Did they want to do it to you while the wife watched?

One of my buddies from college is kind of one. Played D1 football and was a normal dude. He just loved having the devils 3some with his girlfriend.

There are four kinds of cuckoldry, I think.

First you have the man whose wife cheats without his knowledge.

Then you have the man whose wife cheats with his knowledge, and he tolerates it.

Third you have the guy who's had these fantasies, but (like a lot of shite, probably) he keeps it to himself out of respect for his wife and his marriage.

Finally you've got the guy who's actively shopping his so-called wife around on Reddit.

I'm not sure if any of these are better / worse, though I guess if you keep it to yourself and try to minimize it you're just dealing with the fallout from some weird abuse or humiliation you suffered.
Not that I know from first hand experience any of your alleged definitions but to post this as a definition

You're at least the third person who's tried to make this claim here, that "cuckoldry" is purely a fetish and does not refer to men whose wives cheat.

If your wife has sex with another man, you are a cuckold. The term is littered throughout literature and predates Modern English.

With all possible respect, when you use the term to mean purely a fetish, you come off like someone who takes Reddit too seriously.

It is more common than you would think.

They usually start out having people watch them having sex. It is a way of showing off -- look how hot my wife is naked and having sex.

It then transitions to the guy watching someone else rail his wife.

We know a couple of couples who went through this process (and both are still married). In these cases, it seemed like a stage as both couples eventually stopped doing it.

I have a good friend who's a swinger. He's not into the cuckold stuff, but people in his circle of friends are. I've heard, "makes me happy to see the wife fully satisfied." "Makes our relationship better." Stuff like that.

Just 3 years ago there was a billboard off 190 in Covington advertising an Air Conditioning company.

The board showed this pretty gal wiping sweat from her forehead and read "Sometimes a hot wife is not a good thing."

Yeah that wasn’t meant to be sexual... whoever wrote that ad probably knew nothing about the hotwife culture

There’s a lot of deviants out there who are going to hell. I put the percentage at about 95 percent.

Are we talking full blown cuck as in lets other dudes bang his wife, or a cuck in the sense they have given up all masculinity?

If the latter, yes, I know many of these unfortunately, thru work and such, but none make the cut for our social circle. I like fart jokes and drinking American beer without guilt.

Our excellent neighbors moved a couple years ago, and we got some California by way of Texas neighbors.

The dad stays home with the kids. The kids ARE NEVER OUTSIDE. Even if they are doing yardwork, the kids never come outside. If kids are playing, they don't come out. The only time we have ever seen them is on Halloween, and they will come over for the firepit, etc. They are nice people, but it's so odd. He picks them up from school (all the other kids ride the bus), and drives directly into the garage with them.

And they use an electric lawn mower, so it takes them a couple days to mow the grass. They don't use weed killer, they put down newspapers or tarps to kill the weeds naturally. It's just...interesting, I guess.

Connotation & denotation much brah?

Example: The word "scheme" in American English means something quite different from Modern English English.

But technically they both mean the same thing to everyone?

No. So how about just be smart enough to not use them incorrectly to the wrong person.

Let it go, in American English, we have much more concise modern terms to describe a woman who cheats on her husband than some archaic Middle English term.

A very good friend on mine got drunk and let known that he and his wife swing. He then told me that he had always fantasized about my wife. He also told me that his wife was bisexual and had a girlfriend, which was the reason why he invited me out that night, because she was on a date with her girlfriend.

I politely told him that we weren't interested.

This conversation has never, ever been mentioned or referenced again, and it was probably 5 years ago.
