Sorry. I’m on several different hormones for fertility stuff and it’s made me really really snappy lately.
I’ve had to apologize to my husband at least 2-3 times a day the past week or so

6:00-wake my son up
make him use the bathroom
Brush his teeth
Get him dressed
Go make him and my daughter breakfast
Help him put his shoes on
Put them in the car so wife can take them to school
Get myself ready for work

-The alarm goes off at 6. I usually snooze one time, which is 9 minutes. Half the time the dogs don't let me since they know it's time to eat.
-Get up and let dogs out, hitting start on the coffee maker as I pass it.
-Let dogs in and feed them.
-Brush teeth and take vitamins and Zertec (year round allergies suck)
-Piss and check phone for messages
-Work out with the wife (LIIFT4 videos at the moment)
-Make protein shake while she showers, sip shake while ogling naked wife in shower
-Shower
-Dress
-Pour Yeti tumbler of coffee
-Kiss wife and dogs
leave for work
-Sit in Houston traffic and try to keep cool

It’s ok. I understand. My wife went through this as well. It worked out great. We have a little happy baby now.

How can you spend that much time just sitting there chilling in the morning on the swing? Did you leave out the important stuff?

I wake up earlier to allow myself the time. It’s my much needed me time. Starts my day off better when I have an hour of quiet time in the morning to myself to relax before rushing off to work.

Wake up a bit before 6.
Take a leak.
Go downstairs and make my kid lunch.
Take the dog for a jog.
Feed the dog.
Put on hot water for wife's morning tea.
Take the Browns to the Super Bowl.
Maybe make kid breakfast if he hasn't already eaten.
Take a shower, shave.
Get dressed
Eat
Brush teeth.

Up at 6am, get my son up to start getting ready for school. Bathroom, and get myself dressed and ready for work.
6:45 get my daughter up and eating pop tarts or something to wake her up. 7am bring my son to the bus stop.
7:15 get my daughter dressed for preschool. 7:45 fix her hair with a pony and a bow.
8am, leave the house to bring my daughter to school, then be at work for 9am.

My wife does the same. But only 30 minutes.

I envy people like you.
I would love to be able to wake up at 530 to hit the gym before work, but I am finally tuned to wake up not 1 minute before the exact time I need to to perform my morning responsibilities and get to work on time.

Up at 5:30 walk the dogs for 1/2 hour; feed the dogs; shower and get dressed; give the dogs a bone and put them in their crate; get niece dressed for school and get her breakfast; drop niece at school and get to work for 9:00.
If grandma is with us, grandma gets niece dressed and to school. I still leave the house at the same time every day so that I stay in my routine.
I get coffee when I get to work.

I wish I was better about waking up to work out a 5 but I suck at it.
I wake up at 530, feed the dog, piss, take the dog for a walk about an half hour, get home hit the coffee pot I made ready the night before, make breakfast, watch the news for traffic, shower and out the door by 720ish.

why does it take women so long to get ready.
It takes me 15-20 minutes just to dry my hair. Plus, like nurse said, we use moisturizer and stuff and it has to set before we put on make-up. I only use one moisturizer, so I put it on then brush my teeth, then put on make-up. Then dry my hair and brush it and put it in a ponytail or whatever for the day. I rarely wear my hair down, especially to work. Then put on clothes and stuff. Just takes us a little longer.

It takes me longer than this just to do the actual showering part. Have to pick out shower gel and which face cleanser I'm going to use (just foamy or exfoliate). All kinds of stuff we have to do.

Bathroom. Start coffee, test blood sugar, get coffee, morning prayer, check work e-mail, get dressed, brush teeth after coffee. Leave.
Get into work, turn on coffee...

I do the same thing. I have to have time to just piddle in the morning; read e-mail, twitter, TD, or just watch something on tv. When I have to just hit the ground running, I seem to feel a little off during the day. Kind of like I'm forgetting something.
This morning: got my niece a banana, she peeled it and it had black spots, she doesn't like the black spots so she wouldn't eat it. Made her a pbj sandwich. She wanted trapezoid cut but was ok with the triangle cut since she could call it a sailboat. Her backpack straps were uneven so we had to get those fixed. Needed to get pb crackers and goldfish to add to her backpack for snacks this afternoon because she doesn't know which one she will want. Had to add a Kool-aid jammer to the fridge for after school because she knows she will want one of those. Two different road closures on the way to school, with no warning, so we had to make 2 u-turns. This is why I get up a little early and allow myself extra time.
BTW: My sister leaves for work at 5:15 and my BIL is useless.

The goal every morning...
5:30 wake up and shower.
5:45 do make up, hair and then wash baby bottles from overnight (hopefully out of this stage soon) and breakfast.
6:45 get myself and the baby dressed.
7:00 out the door.
This morning it was up at 4:30 to be projectile vomited on by 4:45, so we had to add a little morning cleaning and laundry into the routine.
