There is a general area in the woods at my family’s place where sometimes I envision a last stand scenario where I’m getting swarmed and pumping out rounds from the AR, empty all mags and switch to the pistol, then pull out the katana and start swinging.

I don't get what is being asked. I don't think about spots where I want to open an artery. Nor do I think of something I want to watch while I die. Who even understands that kind of crap? Be a man. Take care of your shite and have more shite to think about. Start a project if you're that worried.

This is a trope that has been around in fiction since Gilgamesh, Le Morte D' Artur, Shane and goddamn Red Dead Redemption.
Man fights heroic battle, man suffers grievous injuries in the service of his fellows. Man picks really cool place to die. Man looks over beautiful landscape as he breathes his last. How is this complicated?
75% of movies for MEN follow this goddamn plot device.
A noble death in a pretty place.
Guess I should have titled the thread: Hey, got a really cool place you would like to die?

I shoot the man coming into my church before he can hurt anyone. In the confusion, a cop shoots me thinking I was the bad guy.
