I hate my commute. Waiting for another spot to open up so I can transfer closer.

I like the job though.

I have never kept a job longer than 18 months without starting a second job part time and then transitioning to a different full-time job before the 2 year mark.

I cannot stay in one place or one job for longer than that.

Its fine. Don’t hate it and get paid well. Wish I worked less hours but whatever.

I’ve been in the industry for 17 years, so I might as well just stick with it till retirement. I’m not restarting at the bottom doing something else. F that.

Love it. Been offered other jobs (2 this week) for more money and there's no way I'd leave.

Scruffy loves his job. It’s tiring and has its bad moments, but he enjoys going to work.

Scruffy works with good people too.

If someone isn’t able to enjoy being a pediatrician, something is wrong with that person.

Love it, but actively looking/transferring internally to another department. It’s no secret and working with the new department to get up to speed to make the switch. I’ll likely be fully into the new spot within a year

I can genuinely say that I like what I do a whole lot. I like the company and my coworkers.

There is no chance I would make a career out of something that I “hate”. That would make for a miserable life. You spend more time with “work” than your family. You should like what you do.

I'm in the same boat. Did once work one place for 11 years and hated it. Grew balls since then

What do you do these days Roger? Are you still working for that company that does outside activities in Juno?

This thread would have been better if everyone stated what their job actually was...

My advice is to make sure you have things to do when you have plenty of time on your hands and find something(s) that gives you a sense of purpose.

Nope. I love it. I just make shite money doing it.

But I made a lot of money doing something I hated and I would much rather be where I am now.
