I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. It’s a job. It pays the bills. We can’t all be professional fisherman that shoot high budget porn films on the weekend

I mostly enjoy what I do. My job sucks at times (long hours, lots of pressure, general corporate BS) but pretty much all jobs have their ups and downs.

I try to refrain from “loving” or “hating” my job. I exchange 9 or 10 hours of my time each day for a previously-agreed upon amount of money. That’s it.

The monotony does get old. I'm almost 20 yrs in and generally enjoy what I do but to think that I'll still be doing this in another 25 yrs kind of makes my head hurt.
