I wanted to watch this game but after only two minutes the court gave me AIDS.
Survive and advance. Ha!
Win is a win….even when they are ugly! Geaux Tigers!
This one’s a master class.
This game won’t end….

So serious question...how do programs create consistency? Ideally I would like to see LSU in contention (top 5) every year and not have the peaks and valleys. How do programs maintain a level of consistency year in and year out and not have to rebuild for 2-3 years after a great season?
Alexandria Mayor and APD released the body cam footage:

Shows the officers interactions with them earlier in the evening.

All day long going under screens on a jump shooter who has been killing you from 3. Damn.

Alvar Aalto - died on my birthday. (One architect died; one was born — he has had the more illustrious career haha)
Dang, Camden...I though I was the only one with that kind of spread! Mine are 20,18,13,5.

The oldest two just kind of figured it out and didn’t see it as lying to them. They understood the magic that the believing brought them and wish they could go back to not knowing. We didn’t have any sit down conversations...it just kind of evolved, I guess. I have a STRONG feeling the 13 year old also knows, but she isn’t saying and my wife probably isn’t ready for her to know. Everyone plays along for the 5 year olds sake.

re: Pants around the house

For a cold day working outside around the house I wear an old pair of chinos or khakis. In warmer days I prefer the chinos because they are lighter.

Inside usually Nike running pants or shorts.

Giantkiller posted this in the VSCO girl thread but it bears repeating: “The OT gets weird as frick at night.”

12 team, keeper league. I can only keep one....who would you guys keep.
I think he was trying to appeal to the voting base that thought the City was investing too much money in festivals “every weekend” (this is how it was described in a debate).

Reading between the lines, it appears the complaints were coming from a constituency that did not feel the festivals (there are really only two per year) were catered towards their likes.
It’ll be interesting to see if the local media picks up this story or just leaves it alone. I’d be curious to see how the City administration handles it.
Maybe festivals are racist?

The mayor did mention several times during his campaign that he thought there were too many festivals. I guess the best “political” way to get rid of them is to make changes, cause attendance to drop and then cancel them citing poor participation.

This whole “festival” started as a fundrasier for the museum. The museum sponsored a dragon boat race event a few years ago that was very successful and made money for them. The City (previous administration) cannabalized the event and structured a festival around the dragon boat races so they could get in on the revenue stream. Ended up working out pretty well.....until this year, I guess.
I don’t know about the “significant regional controversy” part....I haven’t really heard anything (I live in Alexandria).

But I can presume it has to do with the new administration’s “rebranding” of what has been a largely successful festival. I didn’t go this year, but it seems like the new administration made some changes to the layout, schedule, hell-they even changed the name, seemingly all for ththe purpose of just having their fingerprint on the festival and distancing themselves from the previous administration.

This team, all season, has had slow starts in the second half and letting teams back into the game after overwhelming a team in the first.

With that said...in a close game (talent wise and score) against a good coach (I.e. Mich St or Duke) LSU’s coaching will be their undoing.
