Last day of the month (29th) being last day of work. I told the boss three weeks ago, but I have to make it official. Today or Monday?

Just grab a template off of Word?

Friday.

If you do it on Monday, you’re going to have to deal with shite that whole week.

Wait until the 29th. Walk into your boss’s office and slap your cock on his desk. This will save you the hassle of writing a letter.

Put my resignation in last Thursday and told them I would be there until the 26th of this month.

Did mine on Thursday last week and then took off Friday. This is my first job change in my career. Feels pretty good after you do it.

Anyday and take any vacation you have left to offset the two weeks

I think it matters more what your last day will be, not what day you give notice.

Congrats on the new job!

Is the new job with a competitor?

Makes a big difference in what to expect. Take your paid vacay days if you have them.

If its not a direct competitor, it wont be a big deal.

Whichever day you decide, it's best to deliver the letter in person by sticking it to the wall of you boss's office or desk with a bowie knife.

Did you find a new job? Put your two weeks notice in the minute it's official you have a new job. Who cares what day it's on.
