Do you frequent a cozy place to work/read/think?

Maybe a nook in your home, a sleepy book shop, or a hole in the wall coffee shop?

I enjoy going to various coffee shops and also a corner section of my living room to look out the window.

Where do you go to do this? If you don’t, I highly recommend it.

I’ve found that placed spaces usually don’t have the vibe I’m going for. My kids have taken over our bonus space. Even if they didn’t, feels a bit cold/commercial.

I have been reading a lot more on the evening. I find myself in a better mood the more I read than mindlessly scrolling through YouTube

At home it is either the side porch or back patio depending on the time of day and which is quieter and/or darker. If I need to have some uninterrupted thought at work I will often go to a restaurant nearby if it isn't during lunch and sit in the back room. A change of scenery often helps me focus and think outside the box, I never quite get that head space sitting in my office.

I have my own den and office in my house where no one bothers me unless they are invited.

My shop, I got my bass boat on one side with all my baits on the wall and a work bench in the back for working on reels. On the other side I have my home gym. It’s exactly what I always wanted.

Yes. I have great little outside place to hang and read. Only thing I watch is sports. I’m a fanatical reader.

My formal living room is very “cozy” I have a swivel chair that is near the hearth and also near a large window. It’s usually where I sip whiskey and read books.
