This seems to be a thing of the past. I can't remember the last time I saw it.

Whenever I flash my lights dude hangs a U-ey and comes up behind me and rams me. I spin off the road. Then he slits my throat and I bleed out.
Every single time.
Every single time.

I do when I am going down back roads. Never on main highways.

I got that email too but I ignored it until it was too late and the car I flashed my lights at shot me.

No unless it's a speed trap. If it's just a lone cop on the side I won't. I figure if that cop wants to get them for speeding over everyone else, they were driving too fast in the first place.

I respect my boys in blue unlike SOME people in this frickin country.
I asked a BR cop, who worked traffic, what he thought about people that did this. He told me "Good, I love it. It expands my enforcement zone and makes people slow down. I wish everyone would do it."

I always said if u won the lotto, or for some other reason had disposable income and a bunch of free time, I'd print up a bunch of "Spoed Trap Ahead" signs and keep them in my trunk and go post them whenever I saw one. I'm not a speeder (haven't gotten a ticket in years), but I have a big problem with places like Jeanerette, Golden Meadow etc... That use tickets as a revenue source
Somebody did this on I-49 outside Washington one time.

Yes, whenever I see a hidden cop. I see some say it's illegal, but then I would just tell that officer I was flashing my lights to pass a car and I'm sure my Lawyer could argue that in court.

Yep.
And illegal? How can the cop who caught you not know you were trying to wash your windows and hit the wrong side?
That would be my story.
