Do you ever think about the power of your brain?

Think about the simple act of repositioning yourself to get a better look at something in the distance:
You know where to position yourself based on experience
You can focus on what you are looking at while your brain controls your movements
All the while you are registering what you are seeing while experiencing and processing any number of other sensory inputs
And all of this happens almost automatically.
Boston Dynamics can’t do that

My brain isn't all that powerful.

I have a 40 star wars drone that will follow me around for 30 minutes with zero input.

I wouldn’t want to be anyone that’s ever worked for that company when the robots do finally take over. The things they’ve done in the name of science rival the worst of what the Nazi’s ever did.

My mind can not fathom the power of my brain.

They say we only use 10% of our brain. I say we only use 10% of our hearts.

Sometimes I think about how powerful the human brain is.
Then I read threads like the one about the poster who drove 700 miles to have sex and was genuinely asking if that was normal

No, unless you can tell me how to boost it.

It’s not the power that impresses me as much as the efficiency. The human brain is incredible at filtering out information it doesn’t need. For example, your nose is always in your field of vision, but you rarely see it. Your brain just processes it out. Your brain does that exact same thing for countless bits of sensory input all day, every day.

Certainly. I remain one of the smartest motherfrickers I have ever met.

All I know is that when my little head does the thinking for my big head my wallet gets thinner.

Go watch the TED talk about the guy who was born color blind and invented an apparatus to hear color. He now seamlessly hears color much the same way our brain processes our nose out of our vision.

Mother Nature isn't interested in our well being, survival and prosperity. Nature doesn't have a grand design with humanity as the star of the show. Hopefully, Boston Dynamic does.
