Chicken liver pate is incredible.
Yes it is and I make it all the time. It is cheap and quick. I make Jacques Pepin’s recipe. I make a double batch and you can use scotch or brandy instead of cognac or nothing.

Takes no time and will keep a couple weeks in icebox.

Fried chicken livers and gizzards

Not yes, hell yes. Fried, sautéed with garlic butter, pate with brandy,.
Definitely gotta be rare and undercooked. A food of the gods. On toast, on biscuits, on fettuccine, in dirty rice. Throw the rest of the chicken to the dogs.

In dirty rice; otherwise, it’s dry and has a weird texture.

So you pretty much eat it any way you possibly can as long as you are able to mask the terrible flavor and texture by combining it with other foods while still being able to brag about eating it. Got it.

I used to fry it up with lots of onions and make some good gravy. I haven't eaten it in years but certainly would not turn it down if someone offered me a nice helping.

was raised in a house where we ate every thing but the head and feat. The heart was always my favorite.

I want to like it but last time I tried it I didn't. I love it in dirty rice or in pate, but straight liver, can't do it.
