Nope, no communal break room food at all

Yes, no question. Bring on the germs. My antibodies don't get a free ride. They need to earn their keep.

No indeed.
People will pick up and move around that stuff like it’s no big deal
Same thing with arse clowns that double dip in a container like they don’t see anything wrong with it

Absolutely!
I work from home thus only my fingers touch them. Another WFH bonus unlike what that other bovine fecal material thread tries to tell anyone.

Eat them? Sure.
Bring' em too. Homemade cookies, cakes, psurates (pusharatas), pigtails and such during the holidays. After Christmas I make a big crockpot of leftover turkey, andouille and oyster gumbo for office to eat for lunch; they eat every bit and there is never any left.
Hell, I'll bring in leftover homemade desserts and treats from an LSU Saturday tailgate on Monday. 1/2 a cake or pie, cupcakes, brownies, even 1/2 a tray of Texas cobbler. It's all gone by the end of lunchtime.

I never eat donuts or cupcakes? Both are incredibly nasty.

Do I have to choose one or is it yes or no?
Not as simple a question as you claim.
But in my case, I haven’t worked in an office in 12 years and I haven’t had a cupcake or donut in about as long.
So no.
But probably donuts if it’s abstract multiple choice. Assuming fresh and hot. If not then probably cupcakes as long as not the white/yellow store-bought garbage.
Is that clear?

There was a lady in one of the offices that would bring in homemade blueberry muffins and if you got there late, you missed out on something special.
If there was ever a layoff, her job was safe.

Not if it comes in a plastic disposable lid/base contraption as if it was purchased from a grocery store.
But if it was served in a box from a reputable donut shop, hell yeah.

No.
Lot of grossly out of shape people in my office. Boss is always bringing some sort of garbage in to eat: donuts, pizza, etc, etc.

Yep.
There’s a little old lady that comes to the office a few times a week and she always bakes something for us.
There are only 5 of us in the office, and three of the people won’t touch anything that comes from someone’s personal kitchen (lol). So the other person and I chow down (ironically we are the skinnier of the workers)
